I am a solo-founder & international student studying in Canada.

Right now I’m working on Deep Meditate, a YC-backed company that creates products in the health & wellness space. I am also an undergrad studying Computational Mathematics at Carleton University in Ottawa, currently in my final year.

Here's a summary of my journey so far:

- Started studying engineering at UBC in Vancouver in 2016. In my first year I got terrible grades because I failed to plan my courseload. Ended up being placed in Mining Engineering. The only silver linings during this period were weekly dinners with other tech nerds and discovering how much I enjoyed working out at the gym.

- I studied hard, upped my grades to an 80% and used that to transfer out of Mining Engineering in Vancouver and transferring into Computers & Math at Carleton University in Ottawa.

- In December 2019, I started Deep Meditate and went through YC. It's been nearly 14 months since then and we recently reached a milestone of 2500 paying users and $120k ARR! I'm still operating as a company of one and I have recently been hiring some contractors on a part-time basis. I feel lucky that I'm finally in a position where I absolutely love what I do and I'm proud of the impact that my work has had so far.

I share everything I know about making awesome software and products through my writings, along with my stack, yearly reviews, life updates, and other stuff.

In addition to this site, you can find me on Twitter where I talk about my experiences building products. I’m also planning on building in the public going forward in true #IndieHacker fashion, so if you’re interested in following along, add your email to my newsletter below.
